U13/U15 SPORTSHALL

SPORTSHALL REGIONAL FINAL, GUILDFORD - 27 FEBRUARY 2005

Four Counties met at Guildford for the Norwich Union sponsored Regional Sportshall Final for a very enthusiastic and exciting meeting.

Our Surrey teams did very well with two teams qualifying for the National Final in Birmingham - the Under 13 Boys & Under 15 Girls.

The performance of the day was undoubtedly the dominance of our under 15 girls. As well as winning each individual and relay title each of the six girls that made up the squad came in the top six. This is a Sportshall first. The girl on top was Jo Rowland who won the 4 lap race and was joint first in the standing long jump (2.38m).
