WIN SHEPHERD (2000)

Past President (1961/2) and SCWAAA Secretary (1950/4) died on 28 August 2000. Win was the track & field championships secretary for over 15 years. In recent years she was one of the ladies who looked after the “gate” at our joint track & field championships. In her youth Win was a walker and became a member of Selsonia LAC and then joined Belgrave H where she became their first female president. Her funeral was held at Putney Vale Crematorium at 10:00am on 6 September 2000.
